To clean the outside of the vagina use only water or soap with neutral pH.
Always clean from the vagina to the anus
Internally the Vagina is perfectly capable of cleaning itself.
Each vagina has a particular odor which depends on the bacterial flora and not on the lack of hygiene.
Vaginal washings or vaginal showers are to be AVOIDED, in fact, several studies have shown that they alter the balance of the vaginal flora and promote the growth of “bad” bacteria, increasing the risk of infections.
Be careful not to overdo intimate hygiene!
Excessive use of soap could increase the risk of infection or irritate the skin of the vaginal area. It is recommended to wash externally with intimate soap maximum twice a day and wash all sexual intercourse only externally with water.
Intimate hygiene and menstrual cycle.
